Lilium Hotel Rome

Lilium Hotel Rome

Hotel Description
The Liliumhotel is an exclusive small hotel located in an antique building a few minutes away from Via Veneto. It has 14 rooms recently refurbished, offers a very relaxing atmosphere and the young staff welcome the guests with plenty of care. Every room is smartly furnished, ornamented with a flowers design and painted in a different colour matched to a flower. This simple but fine design, gives the rooms a unique charm that makes a difference providing them with a warm mediterranean atmosphere. In the National Geographic Traveler magazine, Apr. 2003 issue, on page 59, you can read: The owner of Lilium, Annibale Batosi, is an abstract painter with exuberant and secure eye for interior decor. Opened in Sep. 2002 the hotel occupied one floor of a 1924 building on a busy street. Australian songbirds welcome you to the lobby, and serene blue hallways lead to high ceiling rooms with painted armoires and color-coordinated with the sheets. Everything in the sunny place is nicely up-to-date; firm mattresses, air conditioning in every room, well-conceived bathrooms. Check in and you will be among the first to stay at a hotel that's earning a serious following. In the room you'll find: bathroom (with shower), TV, phone, air conditioning, ceiling fan, safe, refrigerator, 24h DSL Internet access plug (free laptop loan one hour a day) . The Hotel has two kind of rooms: Standard rooms (with view and double glass windows) Superior rooms (very quite with nice flowering terraces)

From Fiumicino airport: you can get the express train to Termini station (central station) then you can take bus #38 or #92 and get off after three stops, or take a taxi (5-10 Euro), or take a walk (10 minutes). Coming by car: you will arrive at the "Grande Raccordo Anulare" or "GRA", a sort of ring street surrounding Rome. Take it and drive to an exit named "Nomentana" on the north-est side. Exit there and take Via Nomentana (street) in the direction of centre. After 12 km you will arrive at "Piazza di Porta Pia", the entrance to centre (you can recognize it because it is surrounded by ancient walls and you will pass at the right of the big door planned by Michelangelo), enter and continue until the first crossing (Via Nomentana is now called Via Venti Settembre and crosses Via Piave). After the crossing, you will find the Liliumhotel in the first building on the right hand side of the street.
